The Neues Museum (New Museum) in Berlin Germany is currently undergoing a
major renovation and is expected to reopen in 2009. Located on Museum
Island, the Neues Museum was badly damaged during the war. When it reopens, it is expected
to house the Egyptian exhibits that are currently housed in the Altes Museum.
