The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) is perhaps the best known landmark
in Berlin Germany. The gate became a symbol of a divided world when
the Berlin Wall was erected on August 13th, 1961. In 1987, President Ronald Regan
delivered his now famous speech "Mr. Gorbachev - Tear down this wall!" at
this site.
