Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtnis Kirche was built in 1895 and is one of Berlin's
most well-known landmarks. Situated in the commercial district on
Kurfurstendamm Avenue, the church was hit by a bomb in 1943. The church
structure, however, was retained as a memorial. Visitors to the church can view
photographs of the neo-Romanesque church taken before and after the site.
